Kul Kul Connection students hosted a wonderful event during Sustainable Solutions. For those of you who missed it, the KKC teachers organized a Carnival in the Sangkep that included making crowns out of palm frawns, a giant spinner wheel of fortune, and a mini Ayung river simulation.
This carnival was inspired by the Legend of the Ayung River. This local legend is about the creation of the river that flows through our campus. The current King of Sibang in the 7th generation in line from Anglurah Mambal Sakti, the King who asked Dewi Danu to open a hole in Lake Bratan to start the river on its course. We want to congratulate the students on their wonderful achievement. We are taking a group of 20 KKC and Local Scholar students to the top of Mount Batur this Saturday. Many of our local students have not had the chance to connect with these amazing natural sites here in Bali. We are so grateful to Green School team to support us in making these opportunities possible.
